Our Story
The name Pierian Spring comes from Greek mythology – a sacred fountain believed to bring knowledge and inspiration. Poet Alexander Pope later referenced it in An Essay on Criticism, with the famous advice: “Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring” – a reminder that half knowledge can be dangerous, while true learning requires depth.
Pierian Spring Learning Ventures carries this spirit forward.
The name reflects three ideas: a global identity with deeper meaning, a belief that transformation must be complete rather than superficial, and an abbreviation – PSLV, also connects with the ISRO rocket, symbolising aspiration and progress.
